14560 Avion Parkway is a three-story, Class A office in Fairfax County, Virginia. Like many of its neighbors, it could soon be repurposed as a 24/7 data center.
In a zoning interpretation submission to the county on May 16, the applicant requested use determination for installation of a data center at the property. The proposed data center encompasses a singular building, complemented by site enhancements. These enhancements include an equipment yard, designated employee parking, and architecturally screened rooftop mechanical equipment.
The site was initially purchased by The Real Estate Group of Boyd Watterson in 2017. Since its purchase, the immediate area around 14560 Avion Parkway has become known as data center alley. Today, a total of 210 data centers and 52 data center providers operate out of Chantilly, Virginia.
