Original plans for a 46 unit apartment building in Northeast DC have been modified to include two extra dwellings.
The application to build the five-story complex was submitted back in 2015 by Pierce Investments, LLC, but has since been taken over by a new entity. K Two, LLC submitted the modification to the zoning board on April 14th, showing that the project is still progressing.
According to the submission, a new floor will be added to create two duplex units to the existing fifth floor. The penthouse units will be located on the sixth level. The architectural plans indicate the building height of the property will not exceed the approved 50 feet, as penthouse height is measured distinctly from building height.
PGN Architects are designing the project which would be the largest residential development in the Trinidad neighborhood.
